ABOUT

BIOGRAPHY

Tina Reibl has been a lecturer and mentor at Trinity College London, as well as an examiner for their Rock & Pop exams. She has been an enthusiastic vocal teacher and workshop leader for 25 years.

After originally leaving Berlin University with a BA Hons degree in Social Sciences, she moved to the UK in 1984 and completed a Postgraduate Degree in Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

She briefly worked as a professional singer before pursuing her real passion for education.

Tina’s teaching career took her from working as a peripatetic singing teacher at Berkshire Maestros to lecturing Performing Arts at college followed by a role as teacher of Musical Theatre at a well known stage school.

After holding a position as an educational consultant for Slough Music Service, Tina has travelled extensively throughout the UK as a Teacher’s Trainer since 2006, specialising in accelerated learning and vocal and choral training courses for two of the leading private teacher training agencies, Dragonfly Training and Osiris Educational.

Her search for understanding what makes a successful musician lead her to study Neuro-Linguistic-Programming up to Master level. She uses this knowledge to help artists and students achieve Peak Performance.

Tina is being regularly booked on choir weekends by choirs wanting a “choral health check” and fresh ideas as well as for singing inset days in schools all around the country.

Since 2009, Tina has started working internationally, operating as a choral conductor on cruise liners. She has since worked each year on a number of cruise liners and has been lucky enough to see the world from the Arctic to the Amazon running passenger choirs.

Tina delivered her first international singing retreat in Spain in 2015, followed by a sold out retreat in Turkey in 2016. In May 2017 she held another succesful retreat in Spain.

Tina published her 'Ultimate Book of Warm-Ups and Energisers' in 2019, which is available on Amazon and in all good book stores.

Generating a love for music in her students lies at the core of Tina’s teaching; she describes herself as an “edutainer”.

Tina’s music sessions are invariably cheerful, energetic, inspirational and enjoyable.
